Explore one of New York City's best kept secrets and view the beautiful horticulture on display at Wave Hill gardens.

Overlooking the Hudson River, Wave Hill features one of the best public gardens in New York City as well as a cultural center. You can enjoy a leisurely stroll around the 28 acre garden while viewing the many types of plant life that are on display. There is a Flower Garden, a Wild Garden, a Paisley Bed and also a Conservatory waiting for you at Wave Hill.

Sunset Wednesdays--June 28, July 5, 12, 19, 26, August 2, and 9

Thursdays--July 6, 13, 20, 27, August 3 and 10


The Marco Polo Stufano Conservatory features plants like ferns and cacti. You can also find quiete a few plants from arid areas inside of the Cactus and Succulent House.

Wild Garden
Wave Hill's Wild Garden features many wild species of plants from around the world. This garden is featured at the highest point of Wave Hill and offers absolutely stunning views of the river.

Did You Know

  • There is a free Wave Hill shuttle van that will pick up passengers on 242nd Street on the West side of Broadway in front of the Burger King. The shuttle runs from 9:10am until 3:10pm.
