Your journey begins at the center of the Financial District on Wall Street. As your tour progresses, you’ll hear about each area’s unique history and have the opportunity to sketch them for yourselves.

About the City Sketching Art Tour

This unique tour combines sightseeing and art, as well as the opportunity to join fellow art enthusiasts from around the world. Rachel, the New York City-based artist, will guide you to several famous Lower Manhattan Landmarks, including the Wall Street Bull, George Washington Monument, and Trinity Church with Alexander Hamilton cemetery. As you admire each landmark, your guide will explain its fascinating history. 

You’ll have the opportunity to sketch each location with the guidance of a skilled artist who is passionate about the city. The City Sketching Art tour winds up with a final chat where you’ll revisit your work, receive detailed feedback, and discuss your final sketches with the group. This tour is perfect for the passionate art lover and beginner to intermediate artists looking to join a hands-on tour of New York City.

Know before you go

Sketch materials will be provided to you on the day so you can jump into creating your NYC-inspired art.

This tour is for ages 7+. An adult should accompany children.

You will be charged $49 per person if you fail to show up or cancel with less than 7 days' notice.

Reservations Required:

To reserve your place, please send an email to NYCSketchTour@gmail.comEmail your desired day and start time for your tour, pass card #, full name, # in the party, and mobile phone. You will need to leave a credit card # to guarantee your arrival as space is limited. However, this will be deleted when you arrive and scan your New York Pass. 

After receiving your email, the attraction will call you within 24 hours. A full seven (7) days are needed for cancellations. Tours sell out in advance, but we are happy to place you on a waiting list if this happens.

Getting in 

You will meet your guide in the Financial District in front of 37 Wall Street next to Tiffanys, where Rachel will hand out your sketch pad and pencil that are both yours to keep. Please arrive 10 minutes before the tour start time.
