About
A Walk Through History

Experience the beauty of New York City from a historical viewpoint. Tour NYC’s neighborhoods on this three-hour walking tour and learn everything you ever wanted to know about the 'city that never sleeps'. Your guides will lead you through three different eras with enchanting historic storytelling. With each era, a new costumed guide will appear and lead you through the iconic figures and famous landmarks of that time.

Learn about the fascinating landmarks that make NYC so iconic including Trinity Church, Hamilton’s gravesite, Federal Hall, New York Stock Exchange, Fraunces Tavern, India House, Stone Street, South Street Seaport, Brooklyn Bridge, One World Trade Center, 9/11 Memorial Grounds, and the Statue of Liberty.

Your City Rambler tour will begin in Lower Manhattan and journey to the famous South Street Seaport. At South Street Seaport, you’ll have the opportunity to ramble off and do some solo exploring. The designated ‘Ramble point’ offers the chance to get to know the area with ease as well as stumble upon the less-explored streets that add charm and intrigue to this ever-changing city. Grab a coffee or visit an attraction. Then when you are ready, rejoin the next tour running approximately 1.5 hours later.

A Walk Through History highlights

Lower Manhattan
Start here for the very beginning, when Lower Manhattan was just a Dutch settlement of New Amsterdam. Pass by the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), the “Fearless Girl” statue, and learn about the ambitious writers, traders, and politicians of the past.

Financial District
Get an up-close and personal look at the NYSE building, Federal, and Trinity Church.

9/11 Memorial
Pay tribute to the victims who lost their lives on the fateful day of the attacks in front of the gorgeous manmade waterfalls. Hear stories of heroism, sacrifice, and the rebuilding of that New York spirit.

One World Observatory
Marvel at the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere.

Stone Street
Check out the first-ever cobblestone paved street circa 1658. Today, the street is packed with tables, canopies, and tourists moving at the hectic pace of NYC locals.

South Street Seaport

See where Thomas Edison, Butch Cassidy, and Theodore Roosevelt used to hang out. The South Street Seaport is always abuzz with seamen, docked ships, and delicious cuisine.

Review:

Best deal in London - I have used the London Pass my last two trips and it has been wonderful. Especially if you add the Tube option, a great way to see sights you may not have if purchased separately. Would recommend it to anyone.
