Take yourself on a self-guided adventure around the out-of-this-world exhibits and discover everything from shrunken heads to six-legged cows. There's plenty of unusual artifacts and pieces of history too - feast your eyes on a real lock of Elvis' hair, a piece of the Berlin Wall, and an authentic collection of Olympic flames.

There are over 20 galleries to explore full of remarkable relics and outrageous interactive exhibits. Step into a spinning vortex tunnel and get sensory overload, test your reflexes by hitting buttons at the smash dash, and see daredevil stunts and inhuman feats being performed at the Sideshow Wonders.

Photography is encouraged so take plenty of photos as you brave the oddball interactive exhibits. Snap a photo of your head in a jar full of insects, or see what you look like as a half-human.

Ripley's Believe It or Not!® Times Square highlights

Ripley’s Sideshow Wonders – watch the Incredible Lizardman swallow swords and see Tyler Fyre and Thrill Kill Jill perform fast-paced daredevil stunts. There are tons of freakish acts and live performances to watch.

The Spinning Vortex – try to keep your balance in this swirling tunnel which will test your sense of space and gravity.

The LaseRace – wind your way through laser beams as fast as you can and beat your friends to it.

Shrunken heads – step into a room full of really tiny heads and try not to get freaked out. One of Ripley's more oddball exhibits.

Ripley's Believe It or Not!® history

The 'grotesque' was an artistic and literary movement that focused on the distorted, weird, and supernatural elements of life that people find at once both fascinating and disgusting or bizarre. Capitalizing on this fascination, cartoonist and entrepreneur Robert Ripley used his collections of bizarre paraphernalia to entertain and amuse, and the idea has remained popular since the opening of the first Ripley’s in Chicago in 1933.
