How Does The New York Pass® work?

The New York Pass is a sightseeing tourist pass that includes free admission to over 100 popular tourist attractions in the city, including a Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour, the Empire State Building, Top of the Rock, and lots more.

Available in 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 and 10-Day consecutive days, it makes sightseeing easy, affordable, and can save you time with Fast Track Entry at select attractions - it's the only ticket you need for all of New York City's top attractions.

Sightseeing made easy:

Once you've purchased a New York Pass, you don't have to pay to get into any of the 100+ included attractions. Simply show your pass at each attraction to be scanned, and you're in - it's that easy. You can even skip the lines at select attractions with Fast Track Entry.

How does The New York Pass work?

Getting your pass (& guidebook): At checkout, you can choose to go completely digital and use your pass right on your phone (no need to print), have your pass mailed to you (for an additional shipping fee), or pick it up at a redemption location in New York City (for free!)

Using your pass: Simply visit your first attraction to activate your pass. Once your pass is activated, you can use it to visit attractions for the number of days you purchased. To make the most of your pass, get started early in the day - your pass is valid for consecutive calendar days, not 24-hour periods. (For example: If you purchase a 3-Day Pass and visit your first attraction at 5:00 pm on Monday, your pass will be valid for the remaining day on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday until 11:59 pm.)

Booking tours in advance: The most popular tours often sell out in advance, but once you've purchased your New York Pass online, you can reserve your spot with your online order confirmation number. Most tours will ask for your credit card information, but this is just to hold your spot on the tour and would only be used if you're a no-show, or, to make a deposit which will be returned to your account after you've taken the tour.

How long is The New York Pass valid?

The New York Pass is available in 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 or 10 day durations; you can choose how many days you want to use your pass. You can use your pass from the first day you activate it (by visiting your first attraction) until the last day of its duration. Your pass will automatically expire at the end of your 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 or 10 consecutive calendar days. Once your pass expires, you cannot use it for admission at any attractions.

Please note: Passes can only be used at each attraction once.

Can I skip the lines with Fast Track Entry?
