Van Cortlandt House Museum

Since 1748, Van Cortlandt House Museum has stood as a symbol of New York's colonial past and the men and women who shaped our history. This beautiful Georgian-style mansion was built for Frederick Van Cortlandt, as the focal point of his prosperous wheat plantation, and is the oldest residence in the Bronx. Tour the family's formal and private rooms, containing many of the family's original possessions, as well as the kitchen and a slave bedchamber which show the diverse daily life of those who lived on the plantation.

My daughter and I went to New York in Nov 2009 and ordered our passes on line to collect in New York. I did have some slight worries about collecting them, and thought it may be a scam, but we collected them from Planet Hollywood with no issues and used them as many times as possible. We used them to eat out, to visit sites Empire State, Statue of Liberty, Bus Trips, etc with no problems what so ever – a very smooth service. We were recommended to buy them by a work colleague who had been before and we would fully recommend them to anyone who is going to New York.

The pass was fab! Have been 3 times now to NYC but only bought the pass on the last visit. Will be coming again and will buy the pass again! We used it loads and the book was really useful too. I have advised some friends to get the pass when they go in November

A friend of mine tipped me about the New York Pass and because we were going to visit New York, we thought it would be a good idea to purchase one. The greatest thing of the New York Pass is that you can skipp the lines in museums and most other sights of New York, so you don't have to spend your time standing in line! Second of all we liked the discounts you get in restaurants, museu and other stores in New York. Dutch people are always looking for a discount!
