Frequently asked questions about New York Pass

The New York Pass looks like a credit card, and provides free entry into over 70 of New York ’s top attractions as well as several discounts at restaurants and retailers. For a complete list of attractions, click the link “New York Attractions” on the left hand side of our website. The pass activates once you visit your first attraction. We offer the pass for 1, 2, 3 and 7 days. There is no limit to how many attractions you can visit with the pass, regardless of duration. When you purchase the Pass you will receive a guidebook that lists all of our attractions, their contact information, and all the benefits you will receive.

This time, we are happy to say NO. There is no limit at all. You can visit 5 or 50 attractions if you wish - as long as your stamina holds up!

You can visit each attraction just once with the New York Pass. However you can visit as many attractions as you want - even more with the time saved with fast track entry

The New York Pass guidebook is written in English, Spanish, German, French, and Italian.

Yes. For example if you begin using your 3-day Pass on a Tuesday it will be valid for the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of that week.

When you receive your New York Pass, you should immediately sign the back of the card and note the card’s I.D. number on a separate piece of paper for safekeeping. If loss occurs, the New York Pass home office can issue you a new one, only if the lost card’s number is provided so we can de-activate the lost card. Please be sure to put the card in a safe place upon receipt.

If you use your card at an attraction and attempt to pass that same card to your friend to use, the New York Pass reader will reject your second attempt and admission will not be granted.

Unfortunately the New York Pass is the same price for all adults, but you can be sure it offers substantial savings and benefits to everyone.

Child passes are reserved for children 4-12 years old. Children 3 years old and younger will not need a pass. People 13 and older will need to purchase an adult pass.

After adding your purchase to the basket a red button will appear at the top right that reads “Edit Basket.” Click this button and you will see a field to enter your promo code. Please keep in mind that your promo code discount cannot be stacked onto an existing online sale and does not apply to bus packages.

Fast track is a line specifically for New York Pass holders to enter attractions so you do not have to stand in the regular ticket line. This is offered at several attractions with the pass. Advance reservations are not required at most of our attractions (i.e.: Circle Line Sightseeing cruise, Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, all major museums, etc). If you are looking to do one of the Behind the Scenes Tours you can contact the tour to inquire if an advance reservation is possible, or necessary. We do encourage customers to check availability for attractions they wish to visit. If an attraction recommends advance reservations, you can pre-book your tour with the pass number

The Pass grants you a free round-trip ferry ticket to visit the Statue of Liberty, as well as Ellis Island and access to the Immigration Museum . There is no need for a reservation. Also, this is one of our fast track entry attractions so you will not need to wait in the regular ticket line. Due to the extensive waiting list for the crown, about 3 months, we cannot grant access with the pass. If you are still interested in crown access, you will have to reserve a ticket directly through Statue

Yes. New York Pass is Hacker Safe certified website, meaning it has highest standards in terms of online transactions. Additionally its payment page is extra secured by Authorize.Net

You can buy either online or in New York. However when you buy online, you can benefit from the discounts and special offers we sometimes run online. If you would like to buy in New York, then you would have to pay the full price.

You can purchase the New York Passes up to 12 months in advance.

If there is not enough time for the Passes to be delivered to your door, you can always opt for the Collection option - it's free of charge and after 5 minutes you can already collect your Passes - and still, you can benefit from the "special offers", that we sometimes run online instead of paying the full price in New York.

We strongly advise against deliveries to hotels, simply because your New York Passes might get lost there. The only guaranteed way to receive your Passes in a hotel is to use Fedex delivery, otherwise we recommend to collect your Pass in New York City free of charge

As an option, you can purchase one of our bus tour packages which includes the NY Pass as well a ticket for the CitySights NY double-decker guided bus tours. These tours go to or near most of the attractions offered with the New York Pass. The hop on hop off service runs from 8:00am-6:00pm. There are several buses that run along each loop. They stop approximately every ten blocks and run about 15-30 minutes apart depending on traffic. You can hop on or off as often as you’d like or ride the full tour around the city. The bus package also includes the nonstop Brooklyn Tour that runs from 10:30am-3:30pm, and the nonstop Night Tour that runs from 6:30pm-9:00pm. The ticket grants you unlimited access to all loops: Uptown Manhattan loop, Downtown Manhattan loop, Brooklyn Tour, and Night Tour.

The Pass and the CitySights bus ticket are two separate products, so they can be activated at different times. The New York Pass will become active once you visit your first attraction. The bus tour ticket will activate once you print the ticket from the redemption location. At the redemption location, if you are collecting your order in New York , you can choose to print your bus ticket right there or request a bus voucher which you can redeem at a later date once you are ready to get started with the bus. Shipped orders will be sent a bus voucher. Both the New York Pass and the CitySights bus ticket must be utilized in consecutive days.

All Manhattan Tours run approximately every 15 minutes. Brooklyn Tours run every 30 minutes. You can always ask the Bus Service attendands who are available for your convenience at every bus stop

Hop-on Hop-off Buses stop in front of most popular New York City Attractions, after ordering Bus Packages you will receive a map with all exact locations

Bus Tour Packages are available exclusively on this site at the special online price. Please note you will not be able to buy those Packages in New York City - additionally a single tour might cost you up to $44

No, once you have purchased the New York Pass you have up to a year to collect and use them.

No, the pass will not activate until you visit your first attraction. You have up to a year after the purchase date to collect and/or use your pass.
